Annual Meeting 2010
The Leominster Historical Society will once again hold its annual meeting at the historic Columbia Hotel on Main Street on Wednesday evening May 19, 2010 starting at 5:30 pm. The schedule this year will be slightly different, to allow for a unique entertainment opportunity for all of us!
There will be a social hour from 5:30 to 6:30. Then a buffet dinner from 6:30 to 7:30 followed by a short business meeting.
Following dinner and the business meeting the Society is pleased to present to dinner guests and the public, straight from the Customs House in Boston: Abijah Toddy (AKA renowned historical Leominster entertainer/musician Jeremy Bell) and Tobias Tripp, as they whisk you back to 18th Century Boston – a time of punch bowls, snuff, minuets, and polished wit.
For some 18th century “Musik”, entertainment, and little known colonial truths, Tripp and Toddy appear in...Rum and Revolution!
Dinner and show tickets are $30 per person and tickets for the show only are $10 per person.
Tickets are available at the Leominster Historical Society, 17 School St, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday or you may call the Society at 978-537-5424 to make a reservation.

The Historical Society is located at the old brick schoolhouse, formerly Field School, (behind City Hall) on 17 School Street, Leominster, Massachusetts. We welcome community use of the Society's resources for research, and all are welcome to view exhibits at the Society Museum. Please call ahead for school groups.
We seek any photos or artifacts of the school's past, along with any stories of the school that you might remember, to be featured in a display. If you attended Field Primary school, and/or have any memorabilia of the school, we'd like to talk to you. Please contact us at the phone number or email address below.
